Drumroll, Please – We Made a Video

Jared first caught my eye back in June of last year with the short films he was making about San Franciscans at work. He had an obvious love of people creating in and for the community here, and I contacted him pretty much right after I signed the lease for the clubhouse. After many fits and starts, the flu, some vacation time and a foot surgery, he came in to film Makeshifters at work and play, and the results are below. I think it captures our ethos pretty well, and you get to hear directly from our members about why they think the Society is so special.

Big big thanks to everyone who agreed to take time out of their day and be on camera, to Donna for making titles to match the lettering she did in our windows, to Kira for hooking us up with Datagrams for the music, and especially to Tribute SF for making us look good.

P.S. Feel free to share the crap out of this. Here’s the direct link.
